WeDriveU, part of Mobico Group and which operates across the US, has been selected by the GPMTD to operate its CityLift and CountyLink paratransit services, supporting the agency’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, and high quality transport services for people with disabilities. GPMTD served 145,000 passenger trips in 2024 and anticipates continued growth.

The award expands WeDriveU’s Midwest presence to six Illinois customer service centers supporting transit agencies and private-sector customers in Chicago and throughout the state.

WeDriveU began operating paratransit service at its new Peoria customer service center in December 2025. The site centralises customer service, operations management, training, maintenance, and workforce amenities. 

Through CityLift and CountyLink, trained drivers provide door-to-door paratransit services, assisting passengers with mobility needs and ensuring access to essential destinations such as medical appointments, work, school, and shopping.
